Services for Eloise Hathorn of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,Jan. 11, at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church with burialin Sweet Water Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bassfield.

Visitation is Friday from noon to 8 p.m., with family hour from7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Hathorn, 73, died Jan. 3, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lawrence County on March 8, 1929, toCleveland Hartzog and Lula Butler Graves.

She was disabled. She was a member of Bethel African MethodistEpiscopal Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and one brother.

Survivors are her sons, Nathan Hathorn Jr., of Syracuse, N.Y.,and Bobby Hathorn of Brookhaven; her daughters, Linda Hathorn andCarolyn Hathorn, both of Syracuse, and Evelyn Hill of Brookhaven;her brothers, Leroy Otis of Jackson and Monroe Hartzog of Prentiss;and 19 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
