Services for Winnie Mae Emmons of Wisner, La., are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Jan. 11, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inWellman Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-10 p.m. at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mrs. Emmons, 82, died Jan. 8, 2003, at Franklin Medical Centerin Winnsboro, La. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 3, 1920,to Levi Mathis and Eda Mae Stewart Mathis.

She was a housewife. She was a member of the Pentecostalfaith.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her son, Bobby Rushing of Wisner, La.; herdaughters, Edna McLeod of Wisner, Carol Prine of Jackson, La., andFaye King of Winnsboro; her sisters, Onita Alderman of Hammond,La., and Helen Buffington of Vicksburg; and 21 grandchildren, 43great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
