Services for Lillie Ree Peyton of New Orleans, formerly ofMonticello, are 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, at Quinn’s Temple Churchof God in Christ in Monticello with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Peyton, 65, died Jan. 14, 2003, in New Orleans. She wasborn in Monticello on Sept. 16, 1937, to Edgar Daugthry andFlorence Mae Daugthry.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, EdgarDaugthry Jr.; and her sister, Mamie Ree Daugthry.

Survivors are her husband, James H. Peyton of New Orleans; hersons, R. V. Daugthry of New Orleans and Larry Joe Daugthry ofMonticello; her daughters, Shirley Noah and Elaine Collins, both ofNew Orleans, and Lennell Arnold, Linda Clark, and Wanda Brown, allof Monticello; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relativesand friends.
