Memorial services for William “Bill” Baird of Emporia, Va.,formerly of Greenville, are 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, atGreenville First United Methodist Church.

Visitation is Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the church fellowshiphall.

Mr. Baird, 35, died Jan. 13, 2003, at his residence. He receiveda bachelor’s degree and commercial aviation degree from Delta StateUniversity. He was an Eagle Scout and served as a ranger atPhilmont Boy Scout Ranch. He was a member of First United MethodistChurch in Greenville.

Survivors are his wife, Maria Tolochko Baird; his mother, JaneDennis Baird Morse of Jackson; his father and stepmother, Robertand Sharron Baird of Wesson; his sister, Lesa Baird Trotter ofGreenville; his stepsister, Shelley Adams Milligan of Round Rock,Texas; and his stepbrother, Chip Adams of Los Angeles.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
