Services for Thomas Houston “Tommy” Smith of McComb are 11 a.m.,Thursday, Jan. 23, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel with burial inTangipahoa Cemetery in Amite County.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 36, died Jan. 19, 2003, at his residence. He was bornin Pike County on March 26, 1966, to Thomas Herman Smith andDelilah Brumfield Smith.

He was a construction foreman for Reid Metal Erectors in Jayess.He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was an avid hunterand loved fishing. He was a member of the National RifleAssociation.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Alexis Huszar Smith of McComb; hisdaughters, Meghan Noel Smith of Baton Rouge, and Miranda Ann Smithand Allie Mae Smith, both of McComb; his stepdaughter, Amanda ClaraLong of McComb; his sisters, Diane Hughes and Dedee Johnson, bothof McComb, and Debbie Richardson of Brookhaven; and eight niecesand nephews, one great-nephew, one stepgreat-niece and otherrelatives and friends.
