Services for Inez Marks of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Friday, Jan.24, at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon to 6 p.m., at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Marks, 96, died Jan. 20, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 18, 1907, to WillieGill and Cora Gill.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Springfield MissionaryBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ThomasMarks; two sons, Thomas H. Marks and James E. Marks; a daughter,Mary L. Marks; and 10 sisters and one brother.

Survivors are her son, Larry Marks Sr., of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Vera Rogers of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sadie Tillman ofBrookhaven; and seven grandchildren; and sixgreat-grandchildren.
