Graveside services for Audrey McGuffee White of Meridian are2:30 p.m., today in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.

Visitation is today from noon-2:30 p.m., at Lakewood FuneralHome.

Mrs. White, 86, died Jan. 29, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice.She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 9, 1916, to Estus McGuffee andMinnie Leona Fugler.

She was a retired secretary from State Farm Bureau in Jackson.She was a 1935 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a 1937graduate of a secretarial course at Soule College in New Orleans.She and her husband traveled with their three girls as an air forcefamily. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 53years, Col. Julian Scott White Jr.; a brother, B.E. “Bill”McGuffee; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Scott andEvelyn Bostick White; and her sister-in-law, Sybil BriscoeMcGuffee.

Survivors are her brother, James C. McGuffee of Brandon; herdaughters and sons-in-law, Bettiann Lloyd and Mark of Austin,Texas, Nancy Bryan and David of Vero Beach, Fla., and Janet Worthyand Al of Odessa, Texas; her grandchildren, Ashley Lloyd of TexasA&M College Station, Stacey Lloyd of Austin, Shawn Bryan ofLakeland, Fla., Jonathan Bryan and Timothy Bryan, both of VeroBeach; Kristen Worthy and Kimberley Worthy, both of a United StatesArmy base in Germany; and Kelsey Worthy of Odessa.
