Services for Freddie “Fred” Ramsey Herring of Brookhaven are 11a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Heuck’s Retreat Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Feb. 16, from 5-10 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Herring, 74, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, at Haven HallNursing Home. He was born in Copiah County on Jan. 17, 1929, to thelate Clarence E. and Mary E. Womack Herring.

He was employed with Keystone Screen and Wire. He was a memberof Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World WarII.

Survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law, Freddie Carol andTaniel Herring of Bogue Chitto and Gayra Dale and Debra Herring ofBrookhaven; daughters and son-in-law, Madonna Herring White ofZackery, La., and Beverly Jane and Nick Davis of Brookhaven;brothers and sister-in-law, Roy and Katie Herring of Brookhaven andLonnie Herring of Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, AudreyHerring and Sonny Gerald of Baton Rouge, La., and Laura Bell andBuck Butler of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren, Dusti, David andConnie, Kayla and Liz Herring, Marsha and George Walters, SamanthaWhite, Jake Smith, and Trevor and Hannah Davis; and threegreat-grandchildren, Zachary and Ashley Herring and KristopHerring.
