Services for Richard Wells of Monticello are 11 a.m., Wednesday,Feb. 19, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1-6 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Wells, 75, died Feb. 10, 2003, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. He was born in Lawrence County on April 8, 1927, toAmos Wells and Ida Collins Wells.

He was retired. He was a member of Friendship Missionary BaptistChurch. He was an Army veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and 12 siblings.

Survivors are his son, Robert Earl Williams Wells of Chicago,Ill.; his daughters, Constance Wells-Henry of Chicago, and SallieChristine Wells of Olgtree, Ohio; his sister, Clementine Rowe ofChicago; and two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
