Services for Kreg Dion Smith of Union Church are 3 p.m.,Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Hickory Block United Methodist Church withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 1-6 p.m., at Williams Mortuary, andWednesday from 2-3 p.m., at the church.

Mr. Smith, 18, died Feb. 13, 2003, in Jackson. He was born July23, 1984, to Elijah Smith Jr., and Mary Lowe Smith.

He was a student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He was a2002 graduate of Jefferson County High School. He was a member ofHickory Block United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandmother, HelenLowe; and paternal grandparents, Elijah Smith Sr., and VelmaSmith.

Survivors are his parents, Elijah Smith Jr., and Mary LoweSmith, both of Union Church; his brothers, Kendrick Smith andKeldric Smith, both of Union Church; his maternal grandfather,Willie Lowe Sr., of Union Church; his godbrother, Derrick Perrymanof Fayette; his two special great aunts, Christine Henderson ofBrookhaven, and Ruby Smith of Hazlehurst; and a host of aunts,uncles, cousins and friends.
