Graveside services for Bertie Mae Smith of Brookhaven are 10a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Smith, 90, died Feb. 23, 2003, at Silver Cross NursingHome. She was born in Lincoln County on May 1, 1912, to DenPennington and Savanna Ainsworth Pennington.

She was retired from Stahl-Urban Company. She was a member ofEasthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, BarneySmith; a son, Charles Johnson; a daughter, Faye Wilson; herbrothers; and her sisters.

Survivors are her son, Donnie Johnson of Houma, La.; herdaughter, Carolyn Smith of Wesson; and six grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.
