Services for Holcomb P. Lowe of Monticello are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Monticello Baptist Church with burial inLowe Cemetery in Hazlehurst. Services will be conducted by Bro. JonDaniels.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m., at Wilson Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowe, 92, died Feb. 23, 2003, at his residence. He was bornin Monticello on Jan. 30, 1911, to William Benton and Blanche PageLowe.

He was a retired construction worker with Shappert EngineeringCompany. He was a member of Monticello Baptist Church. He was alifetime member of the Moose Lodge in Belvidere, Ill.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, MarjorieElizabeth Felder Lowe; his brothers, Earl, Willie Clyde and BerniceLowe; and four sisters, Ona King, Ina Lowe, Emma Dee Newman andIrene Lowe.

Survivors are his son, William K. Lowe of Waukesha, Wisc.; hisdaughter, Janet Lowe of Tampa, Fla.; his sister, Erlene “Sis”Witters of Monticello; and his grandchildren, Matthew Lowe, JoshuaLowe and Sarah Lowe.
