Services for Henry Bert Walker of Vidalia, La., are 2 p.m.Sunday, March 2, at First Baptist Church of Vidalia with burial inGreenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez.

Mr. Walker, 78, died Feb. 28, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Feb. 8, 1925, to the late Ike and Katy JaneWalker.

He was a test desk technician with South Central Bell. He was amember of First Baptist Church of Vidalia. He was a World War IIveteran of the U.S. Navy.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Walter Walkerand Oliver Walker; and sisters, Leona Walker Smith and BeatriceSmith.

Survivors are his wife, Edith Roberts Walker; son, Reginald BertWalker; daughter, Cynthia Louise Smith, all of Vidalia, La.;brother, Roy Walker of Crystal Springs; sisters, Lavada Jones andArcola Taylor of Crystal Springs and Nell Harrell of Brookhaven;and two grandchildren.

Young’s Funeral Home of Vidalia, La., is in charge ofarrangements.
