Services for Ida M. Upton Hampton of Mokena, Ill., were 11 a.m.,Feb. 18, at Vandenberg Funeral Home with burial in St. JohnCemetery.

Mrs. Hampton, 90, died Feb. 16, 2003, in Mokena. She was born inBrookhaven on June 27, 1912, to George and Alice Upton.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, JesseHampton.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and ShirleyHampton of Brookhaven; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn andCharles Coke of New Lenox, Ill., Ruth and Will Allgood of Mokena,Bobbye and John Schroeder of Roscoe, Ill., and Carolyn and ArisGratsonis of Salem, Ill.; her brothers and sister-in-law, Joel andMaxine Upton of Brookhaven, and Claude Upton; her sister, MargaretRitz of Brookhaven; and 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren,and four great-great-grandchildren.
