Services for James F. Wilson of Monticello are 1 p.m., today atWilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethel Baptist ChurchCemetery. Services will be conducted by Dr. Bill Miller with musicby Bro. Tim Morrison.
Mr. Wilson, 89, died Feb. 26, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Lawrence County on April 10, 1913, to Frank and MattieElizabeth Armstrong Wilson.
He was a farmer. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Hewas a member of the American Legion. He served in the Navy duringWorld War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Mary LouWilson Allen.
Survivors are his wife, Velma Carney Wilson of Monticello; hissons, Buck Wilson and James W. Wilson, both of Monticello; hisdaughter, Rosemary W. Sauls of Monticello; his grandchildren, JamesRicky Sauls, Robert Lowery Sauls, James Calleb Wilson, JoshuaLandon Wilson, Adam Ryan Wilson, Charles Justin Wilson, and JessicaElizabeth Wilson; and his great-grandchildren, James Taylor Sauls,and Madison Claire Sauls.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, James Ricky Sauls, RobertLowery Sauls, James Calleb Wilson, Joshua Landon Wilson, Adam RyanWilson, and Charles Justin Wilson.
