Services for Elzy Burris of Monticello are 11 a.m., Saturday,March 8, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery

Visitation is Friday from 1-6 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Burris, 41, died March 1, 2003, in Jefferson Davis County.He was born in Independence, La., on Sept. 24, 1961, to CharlesPrice Burris Sr., and Alice Brown Burris.

He was disabled. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary BaptistChurch.

Survivors are his father, Charles P. Burris Sr., of Monticello;his mother, Alice Brown Burris of Monticello; his brothers, R.D.Burris and Charles P. Burris Jr., both of Monticello, and RobertChester Burris of Hammond, La.; his sisters, Ora Lee Burris ofTacoma, Wash., Minnie Evans of Monticello, and Lillie Bell Hinds ofPonchatoula, La.
