Services for Lillie Burnett of Oklahoma City, Okla., are noon,Saturday, March 8, at New Bethel Baptist Church in Monroe withburial in Burnett Cemetery in Eddiceton. Tyler Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 11 a.m. – noon at the church.

Mrs. Burnett, 90, died March 2, 2003, in Oklahoma City. She wasborn in Okolona on July 28, 1912, to Walter Shackelford andMalindia Shackelford.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Bethel BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband,Dudley.

Survivors are her son, Edward Burnett Sr., of Laurel; herdaughter, Louella Hunter of Oklahoma City; and host ofgrandchildren.
