Graveside services for Edward O. Hambrecht of Union Church are 2p.m., Wednesday, March 19, at Union Church Cemetery.

Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hambrecht, 79, died March 15, 2003, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in Salem, Mass., on Feb. 22, 1924, to GordonHambrecht and Ebba Hambrecht.

He was retired as a manager for Walgreen’s. He was a member ofthe Episcopal faith. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and the KoreanWar.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Marion Owen Hambrecht of Union Church;his sons, Michael Hambrecht of Orange Park, Fla., Stephen Hambrechtof Virginia, and Richard Hurlburt of Clearwater, Fla.; hisdaughters, Cheryl Hough and Pamela Searcy, both of Jacksonville,Fla., Patricia Pacquin of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Lynn Cupit ofUnion Church; and several grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren.
