Services for Frances Amelia Smith McCaffrey of Jayess are 2p.m., Tuesday, March 18, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. HughHolder-Cummings will conduct the service.

Mrs. McCaffrey, 82, died March 16, 2003, at Hospice Ministriesof Ridgeland. She was born in Lawrence County on May 25, 1920, toAughty H. Smith and Lillie Bell Cothern Smith.

She was a homemaker and retired seamstress with KellwoodCorporation. She was a member of Tilton United MethodistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, MonroeMcCaffrey.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and GayleMcCaffrey of Houston, Texas; her daughter, Sherrie McCaffrey ofJayess; her sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Harold Harris ofBaton Rouge; her grandchildren, Michael McCaffrey and Stephanie andJohn Perky, all of Houston, Texas; her nephews, Larue Harris ofColumbia, Bobby Moak, Roger McCaffrey, and Teddy Joe McCaffrey, allof Bogue Chitto, and Randy McCaffrey of Hattiesburg; and hernieces, Mary Boname of Birmingham, Ala., and Janet Lemoine of BatonRouge.
