Services for Rosemyer C. Dempsey of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Monday, March 24, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, March 23, from 5-8 p.m. and Monday, March24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dempsey, 85, died March 21, 2003, at Haven Hall NursingHome. She was born in Trenton, Ga., on April 2, 1917, to the lateCharles and Orlena Smith Coleman.

She was retired from the Farmers Home Administration.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Jere Dempsey;brother, Charles Coleman; and a sister, Ann Coleman.

Survivors are her son, Jimmy Dempsey of Brookhaven; and sisters,Eloise Johnson of Victoriaville, Calif., and Sara Jones and DotWilson, both of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
