Bonnie Zell Mitchell Beacham

Services for Bonnie Zell Mitchell Beacham of Smithdale are 2p.m., Saturday, April 26, at Smithdale Church of God in Christ withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 7-9 p.m., at People’s Funeral Home inMcComb.

Mrs. Beacham, 83, died April 18, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Amite County on Nov. 3, 1919, to Edgar and IreneMitchell.

She was a member of Smithdale Church of God in Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two daughters, ClaraMae Beacham and Pearlie Mae Beacham Matthews; four brothers, Owen,Jimmy, Curtis, and Eddie Mitchell; one sister, Katie Mae Bell Cain;and two grandsons, Thomas Ray “Sonny” and Larry Lane.

Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Charlie Beacham ofSmithdale; her daughters, Judy Mae Frith and Mary Bonds, all ofSmithdale; her sons, Thomas Lane of McCall Creek; Erby Lane andCharles Beacham of Jefferson, La., Johnny Beacham of Smithdale, andCarl Edward Beacham of Tennessee Colony, Texas; and 30grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 12great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.

Dezylee McAllister Kimble

Services for Dezylee McAllister Kimble of Brookhaven are 11a.m., today at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints withburial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Kimble, 89, died April 24, 2003, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Darbon on July 17, 1913, to JamesMcAllister and Lena Dunaway McAllister.

She was a nurse for King’s Daughters Medical Center and BrookManor Nursing Home. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ ofLatter Day Saints Red Star Ward.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, HarveyArthur Kimble.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Denver Kimble Sr., James C.Kimble, and Houston M. Kimble, all of Brookhaven, and H. EugeneKimble of St. Rose, La.; her daughters, M. Martha K. DeGrasse ofKenner, La., Linda F. Vincent of New Orleans, La., Diane K. Porterof Brookhaven, and Bobbie Crosby of Bogue Chitto; her brothers,Excluse McAllister of Columbia, and John McAllister of Oakville;her sisters, Ruth Martin of Columbia, and Mary Miller of Greenburg,La.; and 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and fourgreat-great-grandchildren.
