Services for Charles Stewart of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Saturday, May 3, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Stewart, 78, died May 2, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Natchez on Feb. 11, 1925 to Ben D. Stewartand Josie Allen Stewart.

He was a retired boilermaker with Local 582 in Baton Rouge, La.He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ. He was a World WarII air force veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, CurtisStewart.

Survivors are his wife, Thelma Allred Stewart of Brookhaven; hisson, Russell Bennie “Rusty” Stewart and wife, Joan, both ofGrenada; his daughter, Becky Burt and husband, Dale, both ofBrookhaven; his sisters, Louise Cato of Brookhaven, and Peggy Smithof Brandon; his sister-in-law, Lucille Stewart of Brookhaven; andhis grandchildren, Brad and Tesha Burt, Allison Burt Graham andhusband, Doug, Camille Stewart, Russell Bennie “Ben” Stewart II,and Sammuel Charles Stewart.
