Although Brookhaven and Lincoln County have not enjoyed anyspin-off industry of the Nissan plant, it does not mean we shouldnot be prepared for other industry that might be looking.

Our weekly reader poll says that 78 percent of our respondentsbelieve that it is important for our area to be ready. We hope cityand county officials will take the cue and agree to combine forcesand build a new industrial park.

We understand there are some concerns and issues, but when youboil it all down, the industrial park is an investment in ourfuture and one that will pay dividends for years to come.
