Services for Clyde Ray “Buddy” Lazarus of Meadville are 10 a.m.,Wednesday, June 25, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMidway Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-8:30 p.m., at Franklin FuneralHome.

Mr. Lazarus, 68, died June 21, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in McComb on Feb. 2, 1935, to Clyde Ernest Lazarus and MildredEasley Lazarus.

He was a nuclear medicine technician at Natchez Regional MedicalCenter before retiring in 1997. He was the first graduate of theUniversity of Mississippi Medical School of Radiology in Jacksonafter it was established in 1958. He was a member of MeadvilleBaptist Church. He was a mason.

Preceding him in death were his father and a brother.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Price Lazarus of Meadville;his son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Jennifer Lazarus ofRidgeland; his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Danny Tutor ofOxford, and Suzanne and Tim Brown of Flowood; his mother, MildredLazarus of McComb; his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and BettyLazarus of Auburn; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary LouCrittenden of Smithdale, and Lillie and Aubrey Matthews, and Normaand Kenneth Dunn, all of McComb; and his grandchildren, Kyle Tutor,Ryne Tutor, Blake Brown and Todd Brown.
