Drunk drivers beware — the Mississippi Highway Patrol is out toget you.

Beginning Monday and continuing through July 6, the MississippiDepartment of Public Safety is conducting a “You Drink, You Drive,You Lose” campaign.

The MHP says troopers will be involved in roadblocks andsaturation details during this time. While the troopers will havehigh visibility, they promise low tolerance for drunk drivers.Certain areas that have identified as problematic areas will betargeted.

If you drink and drive, you’ve been warned. If you get caught,we hope the state “throws the book” at you.
