Services for Gil R. LeCompte of Poplarville, formerly of Wesson,are 10 a.m., Saturday, July 5, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapelwith burial in Wesson Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5-10 p.m., and Saturday from 8-10a.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. LeCompte, 54, died July 2, 2003, at Forrest General Hospitalin Hattiesburg. He was a native of Houma, La.

He was a funeral director and embalmer for White Funeral Home inPoplarville and formerly at Brookhaven Funeral Home. He was a Navyveteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Milton and EdithLeCompte.

Survivors are his wife, Dianne Hughes LeCompte of Poplarville;his sons, James LeCompte of Hattiesburg, Jason LeCompte of Jackson,and Jeffery LeCompte of Wesson; his brother, Douglas LeCompte ofHouma, La.; and his grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Tyler, Noah andHunter LeCompte.
