SUMMIT – The Brookhaven 14-year-old All-Stars tangle with theCopiah All-Stars tonight at 6 p.m. in the second round of the DixieBoys 14s FDistrict Tournament.

Brookhaven, coached by Duane Allred, fell to Summit 11-2Saturday night.

“We just didn’t hit the ball real well,” said Allred. “Ourpitchers did a good job.”

Bradley Allred powered Brookhaven with a double and Josh Coonesingled. Coone absorbed the loss.

Price Sessums scored the first run for Brookhaven in the firstinning. Sessums walked, stoled second base and advance to third ona but before stealing home.

Allred scored the second Brookhaven run on Coone’s single.

The Brookhaven 13s host Summit tonight at 6:30p.m. at Exchange Club Park in their district tourney.
