Services for Bernel Durr Nichols of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Friday, July 11, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inUnion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Nichols, 75, died July 9, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on June 16, 1928, to Lee Durrand Katie Watts Durr.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Union BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, RobertLee Nichols Jr.

Survivors are her son, Larry Joe Nichols of Pearl; her sister,Audrey Nell Ingle of Brookhaven; and her grandchildren, Chet andJordan Nichols.
