W.D. “Doug” Moak: I would encourage statelegislators to continue to fund the local system bridge program. There should also be a condition of the program for active countiesto access inactive counties’ funds. I would also program bridges onfederal routes as much as possible. If federal officials would givecounties a larger allocation of surface transportation funds, thenthe county would have more funds available.

Community officials are pursuing development of a newindustrial park. As a supervisor, what would you do to help fillthe new park with industries should it become areality?

Charles Davis: If a new industrial park becomesa reality, I would use every resource available to attractindustries.

W.D. “Doug” Moak: Supervisors have to work as aboard with city, state, federal, chamber and IDF officials toprovide as many incentives as possible and feasible to attractindustry. We should also work with other organizations to make ourcommunity attractive to industry management personnel.
