Memorial services for Elmer H. Westermann of Wesson are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Aug. 2, at Community Funeral Services.

Mr. Westermann, 82, died July 29, 2003, at University MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born in Gerald, Mo., on Feb. 20, 1921, toOtto Westermann and Kathaline Oitmann.

He worked in public relations with the United States ForestService. He attended two years of college.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara Westermann; his daughters,Marceita Perison of California, Elmira Finnley of Gerald, Mo., andAnna Beth Lippocotton of St. Louis, Mo.; his son, Bruce Westermannof Wesson; and his stepson, Danny Nelson of Monticello.
