Services for Alma B. Pippins Forrest Price of Brookhaven are 2p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at Union Hall Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-9 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Price, 68, died Aug. 21, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Winnsboro, La., on July 19, 1935, to DanielW. Pippins and Mary Bell Shipley Pippins.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Wilbert D.Forrest; her brother, George W. Pippins; and her sister andbrother-in-law, Irene Leggett and Buddy Leggett.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Forrest ofBrookhaven, George Strahan of Brookhaven, and Peggy and Jesse L.Cartwright of Summit; her sons and daughter-in-law, Danny W.Forrest and his wife, Shiela, both of Brookhaven, and RonnieForrest of Brookhaven; her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn andBilly Joe Parkman of Oakvale; her grandchildren, Tammy M. Smith,Kelly Smith, Angie Lacking, Amanda Forrest, Amber Forrest, DannyForrest Jr., Jason Forrest and Kai Cartwright; 11great-grandchildren; her niece and nephews, Linda Miller, MichaelTrott, George Pippins Jr., Gary Leggett and Kenneth Leggett; andher special friends, Pam Little, Mary Segura, Iris Beeson and VickyLaird.
