Services for Kenneth Earl Boyte of Roxie were 2 p.m., Saturday,Aug. 30, at Roxie Baptist Church with burial in Union BaptistChurch Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Boyte, 73, died Aug. 28, 2003, at his residence. He was bornin Franklin County on Jan. 25, 1930, to William E. Boyte and AnnieLouise Combs Boyte.

He was retired from International Paper Company in Natchez, andwas a member of Union Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Willette Boyte of Roxie; his daughter,Linda Pettit of Roxie; his sons, James Kenneth Boyte of Charlotte,N.C., and Richard Lavon Boyte of Houston, Texas; his brothers,Authur Leon Boyte and Herbert Lee Boyte, both of Roxie; sixgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
