Services for Lee Norris Middlebrook Jr. of Monticello are 11a.m., Thursday, Sept. 18, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Churchin Monticello with burial in Quinn Temple COGIC Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from noon – 5 p.m., at WilliamsMortuary, with family hour from 6-8 p.m., at Quinn Temple COGIC inMonticello.
Mr. Middlebrook, 49, died Sept. 11, 2003, in Lawrence Countyfrom injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born inLawrence County on Aug. 4, 1954, to Lee Norris Middlebrook Sr., andCelestine Middlebrook.
He was employed at Georgia-Pacific for 15 years, and was an Armyveteran. He was a member of Quinn Temple COGIC.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Detra Middlebrook of Monticello; hissons, Stephen Jamar Atterberry, Lee Norris Middlebrook III, JustinRashad Middlebrook, Brandon Jamal Middlebrook and Alan JosephMiddlebrook, all of Monticello; his sisters, Eloise Robinson ofDetroit, Mich., Gloria June Greenwood of Corpus Christi, Texas,Beverly Thomas and Sally Beatrice Middlebrook, both of MissouriCity, Texas, Marlene Bailey of New Orleans, La., and Angela DeniseMiddlebrook of Dallas, Texas; his brothers, Carlanditt KeithGreenwood of Corpus Christi, Texas, and George Anthony Middlebrookof Placentia, Calif.; his mother-and-father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.J.C. Atterberry of Monticello; and many aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews and other relatives.
