Services for Marjorie Mason of Monticello are 11 a.m., Friday,Sept. 19, at Monticello First Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from noon – 5 p.m., at Tyler FuneralHome.

Mrs. Mason, 63, died Sept. 15, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on May 29, 1940, to Booker T. Mason andMary Maude Bridges Mason.

She was a former educator in Forest. She was a graduate ofAlcorn State University, and a member of Monticello First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and her husband, W.F.Mapp.

Survivors are her brothers, Kelly Mason and Alvin Mason, both ofRiverside, Calif., and Atlas Mason of Austin, Texas.
