Brookhaven celebrated another successful Ole Brook Festival thisweekend as thousands of visitors enjoyed all the food, fun andmusic the event had to offer.

That enjoyment, though, would not have been possible withoutmany volunteers and the willing help of our community leaders.

In more than a few instances, volunteers took off from work tohelp with the festival Friday and Saturday or to assist in festivalpreparations earlier in the week. They’ve put in some long hours tomake the festival the success that it is.

Our community leaders made employees available to providesecurity or to perform other services. And trustys from the jailwere present Thursday for stage assembly and other tasks.

Brookhaven and Lincoln County can be proud of the communityspirit that has been on display leading up to and during thefestival. Thanks to all who helped.
