Bobbie Nell Burris Holland

Services for Bobbie Nell Burris Holland of McCall Creek were 11a.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, at O’Zion Baptist Church in FranklinCounty, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Holland, 70, died Sept. 30, 2003, at St. Dominic Hospitalin Jackson. She was born in Franklin County on June 21, 1933, toGladys Arnold Burris and Leon Burris.

She was a homemaker, and was a member of New Salem BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother, Gladys Arnold Burris of McCall Creek;her husband, Delton Holland of McCall Creek; her daughter, LindaJohnston of Orlando, Fla.; her son, Daryl Holland of Deltona, Fla.,her sister, Carolyn White of McCall Creek; her brother, RobertBurris of McCall Creek; and four grandchildren.

Beulah Lea Weeks

Services for Beulah Lea Weeks of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Oct. 4, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMatthews Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5-9 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 2p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Weeks, 92, died Oct. 1, 2003, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 30, 1910, to Mary C.Kimble Lea and Joseph Lea.

She was a retired sales clerk, and a member of Matthews ChapelMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James W.Weeks; her son, John Calvin Weeks; seven sisters; and twobrothers.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Lloyd Palmerof Jackson; her son and daughters-in-law, James Harold and KelseyWeeks of Brookhaven, and Judy Walker Weeks of Natchez; her sister,Grace Chapman of McComb; her brother, Luke Lea of Baytown, Texas;11 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
