Services for Mamie Lee Wallace of Kirby are 2 p.m., Saturday,Oct. 11, at Higdon Community Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Luther Bonds.
Visitation is Friday from noon – 5, with a wake service from 7-8p.m., at Marshall Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wallace, 57, died Oct. 4, 2003, at Natchez RegionalHospital. She was born in Franklin County on Sept. 26, 1946, toGeorge Washington and Rosie Sanders.
She was a domestic technician, and a member of Higdon CommunityChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one sister; and fourbrothers.
Survivors are her husband, Edward Lee Wallace Sr.; her daughtersand sons-in-law, Delphine and Issac Starks of Fayette, and Kimberlyand Issac Harris of Meadville; her sons and daughters-in-law,Edward Wallace Jr. and Patricia of Atlanta, Ga., Randy and MarilynWallace of Inglewood, Calif., and Reginald Wallace of Meadville;her sisters, Annie B. Smith of Meadville, and Georgia Washington ofPanama City, Fla.; her brothers, T.J. Sanders and RobertWashington, both of Meadville, and Sonny Washington of Brookhaven;15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; threebrothers-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Willie McDonald, Issac Starks Jr., RonnieWatts, Andrew Smith, Micheal Smith and Alfred Chambliss.
