Services for Johnnie Celestine Dixon of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Monday, Oct. 13, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church on the Riverwith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from noon – 6 p.m., with wake from 6-7p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Miss Dixon, 54, died Oct. 7, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Weed, Calif., on Aug. 8, 1949, to John Dixon Sr. and MamieOla Dixon.

She was disabled, and was a member of St. Paul MissionaryBaptist Church on the River.

Preceding her in death were her mother and a sister, Sandra KayDixon.

Survivors are her father and stepmother, John Dixon Sr. andGertha of Caseyville; her daughter, Ayisha R. Dixon of Brookhaven;her sisters, Lou E. Bowman of Brookhaven, Janice Dixon and LindaDixon, both of Sacramento, Calif., Valerie Mercial of Los Angeles,Calif., Bobbie Nell Dixon of Layton, Utah, Maxine Bradford ofOroville, Calif., and Kala Dixon of Caseyville; her brothers, JohnDixon Jr. of Ione, Calif., David Dixon of Haywood, Calif., andRobert Dixon of Los Angeles; two grandchildren; and many nieces,nephews and other relatives.
