Services for Isaac Daniel Meek of Brookhaven were 1 p.m.,Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church in Brookhavenwith burial in Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mr. Meek, 82, died Oct. 10, 2003, at his residence. He was bornin Paintsville, Ky., on Feb. 11, 1921, to Bernia Sparks Meek andWilliam Meek.

He was a Navy veteran. He was a member of First PresbyterianChurch of Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two sons, Lance Meekand Blair Meek.

Survivors are his wife, Jeane Paugh Meek of Brookhaven; hisdaughters and sons-in-law, Nona Sutton of Bogue Chitto, Dara Meekof Brookhaven, July Meek and Georgette Bourg of Foley, Ala., andTarla and Reggie Watts of Brookhaven; his sons, Foster Meek ofKingsville, Texas, and March Meek of Brookhaven; his brother,Collie Meek of Mentor, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and twogreat-grandchildren.
