Services for Bonnie Mae Laird Freeman of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Ramah Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m., at Brookhaven Funeral Home,and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m., at the church.

Mrs. Freeman, 88, died Oct. 19, 2003, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Brookhaven on March 20,1915, to Gus Laird and Lela Case Laird.

She was a retired grocery store owner and a homemaker. She was amember of Pearlhaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Revis R.Freeman; four sisters; two brothers; and twogreat-great-granddaughters, Rebecca Wallace and Cindy Cloy.

Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Faye Wallace andLinnie Grace “Moon” Quin, both of Bogue Chitto, and DorothyThompson, Ethelene Linton and George Linton Sr., all of Brookhaven;her sons and daughters-in-law, Solon and Sarah Freeman ofBrookhaven, Paul and Inez Freeman of Union, and Joe and SybilFreeman of Bogue Chitto; her brother, Gus Laird Jr. of Brookhaven;28 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 13great-great-grandchildren.
