Richard Labeth

Services for Richard Labeth of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Central Baptist Church with burial in NewProspect Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Mr. Labeth, 63, died Oct. 20, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Conroe, Texas, on Jan. 27, 1940, to Dave Loyd Labeth andJessie Dell Romesburg Labeth.

He was retired after 35 years with Chevron USA Inc. as afacilities representative. He was a member of Central BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and an infant son,Christopher Watts Labeth.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Watts Labeth of Brookhaven; hisdaughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Labeth Crosby and Derek ofBrookhaven; his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Loyd Labeth andAmy of Brookhaven; and his grandchildren, Amanda Tess Labeth andHannah Lacey Labeth, both of Rogers, Ark., and Moreton Loyd Labeth,Morgan Watts Labeth, Myles Elliott Labeth, Logan Derek Crosby,Bretton Christopher Crosby and Connor Christian Crosby, all ofBrookhaven.

Charlie Ruth Hux

Services for Charlie Ruth Hux of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Friday,Oct. 24, at Stringer Funeral Home Chapel in Hazlehurst with burialin Wesson Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hux, 90, died Oct. 20, 2003, at Haven Hall NursingHome.

She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church.

Survivors are her daughters, Mattie Ruth Easter of Birmingham,Ala., and Frances Smith of Meridian; her brother, Willie O’Neil ofHazlehurst; her sisters, Dessie Morris, Peggy Brabham and RubyKnight, all of Brookhaven; six grandchildren; 12great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Nannie Emmons Inman

Services for Nannie Emmons Inman of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Pearl Valley Baptist Church in Wesson withburial in Providence Methodist Church Cemetery in Copiah County.Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Inman, 88, died Oct. 20, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lawrence County on May 5, 1915, to WilliamRoland Emmons and Hestela Elizabeth Emmons.

She was a former postmaster in Oma. She also worked as a nurseat Whitfield Hospital and as an electric welder with Bob Ingil’sShipyard.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter.

Survivors are her four grandchildren and 12great-grandchildren.

Dadie Lambert Warren

Memorial services for Dadie Lambert Warren of Searcy, Ark. were10 a.m., Oct. 15, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Gum Springs Cemetery. Services were conducted by Bill Lambert,Glenn Wilson and Don Diffine.

Mrs. Warren, 76, died Oct. 13, 2003. She was born in LawrenceCounty on Dec. 27, 1926, to Ollie and Hester Ann Lambert.

She was a retired dietitian with Harding University.

Preceding her in death were her husband and two brothers.

Survivors are her daughters, Ellen Wilson of Albany, Ga., AnnieWroten of Summit, and Charlotte Miller of Searcy, Ark.; her son,David Warren of Mountain Berg, Ark.; her sister, Ruth Allen; hergrandchildren, Helen Ann Wroten, Ellen Joyce Wharry, Julie Looney,James David Miller and Rushton David Warren; hergreat-grandchildren, Becca LeBlanc, Morgan Looney, Harmony Looney,Garrett Wharry and Nadlie Dadell Looney.

Pallbearers were Keven Gann, Ken Porter, James David Miller,Tony Pennington, Tony Casteel and Tim Seay.
