Services for James “Jim” Thomas Sasser of Summit are 2 p.m.,Monday, Oct. 27, at Hartman Funeral Home with burial in RosehillCemetery. Services will be conducted by Bro. David Millican.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-7 p.m., and Monday from noon-2 p.m.,at the funeral home.

Mr. Sasser, 57, died Saturday at Southwest Regional MedicalCenter in McComb. He was born in Jackson on April 18, 1946, toJesse Sasser and Bobbie Sasser.

He was a pharmacist. He was employed for 33 years at SouthwestRegional Medical Center, where he was assistant director ofpharmacy. He was a member of Mississippi Pharmacists Association,Lakeview Golf Club, and the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Ann Sasser of Summit; his daughter andson-in-law, Pam Beard and Danny of Brandon; his son anddaughter-in-law, Mike Sasser and Charity of McComb; his sister,Carolyn Ramsey of Vicksburg; and his grandchildren, Megan Beard,Carolyn Beard and Levi Sasser.

Pallbearers will be Gerry Dale Hamilton, Jim Duckworth, GeneHardin, John Graves, Bob Sanders and Mike Smith. Honorarypallbearers will be Wayne Ginn and Clinton Moak.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
