Retha Inez Farmer
Services for Retha Inez Farmer of Jayess are 2 p.m., Monday,Oct. 27, at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burial in UnionPrimitive Baptist Cemetery in Jayess.
Farmer, 62, died Oct. 25, 2003, at her residence. She was bornin Pike County on April 11, 1941, to James A. Smith and Helen I.Myers, both of Pike County.
She was a bus driver for Pike County Schools and attended schoolthrough the ninth grade.
Preceding her in death was her father.
Survivors are her mother; her daughters, Trina Trahan of Sulfur,La., and Michelle Farmer of Jayess; her sons, Charles D. Silvas ofPearl River, La., Darren R. Silvas, Tony Summrall and Damon Farmer,all of Jackson; her sisters, Billie Jackson, Hilda Frazier andJerri Felder, all of McComb; her brother, James F. Smith ofBrookhaven; and her special caregivers, Roberta Hill and BillMyers.
Isabella Franklin
Services for Isabella Franklin of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Rosehill M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Monday, Oct. 27 from noon until 8 p.m., at thefuneral home. Family hour is from 7-8 p.m.
Miss Franklin , 95, died Oct. 23, 2003, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on June 5, 1908, toWill Franklin and Florence Franklin.
She was disabled. She was a member of Rosehill M.B. Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, AleanWells and Beulah Jacob; and eight brothers, Johnny Franklin, JesseFranklin, Benjamin Franklin, Frank Franklin, Luther Franklin, AmealFranklin, Norman Franklin and William Franklin.
Survivors are her special cousin, Ruth Hughes of Brookhaven; anda host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, othercousins and friends.
