Services for Cadmus W. Shipp of Port Gibson, formerly ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Glenwood FuneralHome in Port Gibson with graveside services with Masonic rites at 2p.m., in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Shipp, 85, died Nov. 17, 2003, at Claiborne County Hospitalin Port Gibson. He was born in Dupo, Ill.

He lived in Brookhaven for 60 years, moving to Grand Gulf in1988. He owned and operated Shipps Florist and Nursery for 35years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran, serving in World War II inthe Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the Masonic lodges inJackson and Brookhaven. He was a Shriner and a member of the WahabiTemple in Jackson and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors are his wife, Beverly Blackmon Shipp of Vicksburg; hisdaughters, Frances Cremer of Diamondhead, and Ann S. Smith ofBrookhaven; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
