Services for Kennon Ray Robinson of Hazlehurst were 11 a.m.,Nov. 13, at West Side Baptist Church in Hazlehurst with burial inBethesda Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Robinson, 71, died Nov. 10, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Taylorsville on Nov. 11, 1932, to Athel Robinson and WinnieJohnson.

He was a retired supervisor at Sanderson Farms Processing Plant.He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Kenneth R.Robinson; three sisters, Barbara, Nell R. Purvis and Margie R.White; and a brother, Tommy Robinson.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Weathersby Robinson of Hazlehurst;his daughter, Peggy Gunter of Crystal Springs; his sisters, RuthHenriott of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Doris Tullos of Hattiesburg; hisbrother, Burlie Robinson of Cross Plains, Tenn.; his granddaughter,Heather Dykes; and his great-grandchild, Phillip Dykes.
