Services for J.B. Bee of Brookhaven are 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov.22, at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in the Monroe communityin Franklin County with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon-7 p.m., with family present from6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. Bee, 74, died Nov. 16, 2003, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born in Bude on Nov. 23, 1928, toMitchell Bee and Mary Fleming Bee.

He was a former landscaper with Dickerson & Bowen, and was amember of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, eight sisters and twobrothers.

Survivors are his wife, Annie McDaniel Bee of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Kimberly Treadway and LaToya McDaniel, both ofBrookhaven; his sons, Demetric McDaniel of Slidell, La., and JamalBriedell Bee of Brookhaven; his sisters, Emma Bailey of McCallCreek, Katie Ruth Gary of Dallas, Texas, Lucille Wolfe of BatonRouge, La., Shirley Washington of Natchez, Leslie Hick of Bude,Georgia Washington of Panama City, Fla., and Annie Bell Smith ofMeadville; his brothers, Robert Washington of Meadville, Floyd Beeand June Milton, both of Greenville, Alfred Bee of Monrovia,Calif., and Kenneth Charles Bee of Jackson; and fourgrandchildren.
