Services for Robert B. Smith of Brookhaven are 10 a.m., Monday,Nov. 24, at New Salem Church of Christ with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 2-9 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Smith, 84, died Nov. 21, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 23, 1918, to MollySmith and Hugh I. “Buck” Smith.

He was retired from Southern Wholesale Co. with 44 years ofservice and later worked at Wayne Smith Greenhouse. He was a memberof New Salem Church of Christ and was an Army veteran with servicein World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Ruby SmithHammill; and his brothers, Elmer Smith, Willie H. Smith, FrankSmith, Hugh Smith, Bracey Smith, and Grover Smith.

Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Sarah Lee Smith ofBrookhaven; his daughters, Amy Ratcliff and Deborah Jane Smith,both of Brookhaven; his son, Lawrence Mitchell Smith of Wesson;eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
