Services for Emanuel Dickey Jr. of Jackson, formerly of UnionChurch, are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Hickory Block UnitedMethodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 3:30-5 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Dickey, 53, died Dec. 5, 2003, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. He was born in Union Church on Dec. 25, 1949, toGynell Dickey and Emanuel Dickey Sr.

He was retired. He was a graduate of Liddell High School andAlcorn State University. He was a member of Hickory Block UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father and his sisters, JewelMae Dickey and Annell Dickey.

Survivors are his mother; his son, Demetric Dickey of Vicksburg;his daughters, Gwenda Dickey of Jackson and Jena Dickey ofBirmingham; his brother, John E. Dickey of Fayette; and twograndchildren.
