Services for James “Tarbaby” Tarver of Wesson are 2 p.m.,Monday, Dec. 8, at Springhill United Pentecostal Church with burialin Springhill Cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Tarver, 46, died Dec. 7, 2003, at Hardy Wilson Hospital inHazlehurst. He was born in Copiah County on Sept. 26, 1957, toJames E. Tarver Sr. and Mary B. Fergison.

He was a self-employed carpenter and a high school graduate.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are Frank and Lil Wright, who reared him; hisstepmother, Maxine Walker; his daughters, Jamie Roberts of Wesson,Kristina Bell of Jackson, and Nicki Tarver of Pearl; his son, JoshTarver of Pearl; his sisters, Claudette Tarver of Kingsland, Texas,Brenda Price and Kathy Tarver, both of Wesson, and Rhonda Conner ofFlorence; his brothers, Mark Tarver of McComb, and Kenneth Tarverand John Tarver, both of Wesson; and three grandchildren.
