Services for Maggie Clark Taylor of Jackson, formerly ofBrookhaven, are 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Siloam MissionaryBaptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. WesthavenFuneral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Taylor, 76, died Dec. 10, 2003, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Nov. 10, 1927, to Rosie Brown Clark andLouis Clark.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, GeorgeClark Sr., Hosea Clark and Ira Brown; and a sister, Cora M.Kelly.

Survivors are her daughter, Rosie Plump of Jackson; her sons,Johnny Taylor and Robert Harris, both of Jackson; her sisters,Margaret Clayton of Oakland, Calif., and Arcola Motley ofChampaign, Ill.; her brothers, Edward Clark of Los Angeles, Calif.,Edgar “Ed” Clark of Brookhaven, and Albert Clark of Champaign;eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host ofnieces and nephews.
